Lube, lube, lube, and more lube.
Lube is always my first recommendation!
A good lube can increase pleasure, reduce micro tears, and add to the overall sensations. Using lube is perfectly normal and acceptable (anyone that tells you different is naïve needs to learn a few things). There’s a few different categories of lube that includes the following: Water- Based, Silicone, Hybrid, and oil based.
water-based lube is the most common and the easiest to obtain. Since it is made out of water and our body is mostly water it gets absorbed faster which may mean that you will have to re-up! This lube is easy to clean up and wash away. It’s compatible with all pleasure products but I wouldn’t recommend using for super long sessions or water sex activities.
silicone lube doesn’t get absorbed into the body so it lasts wayyy longer. This lube is becoming more popular due to it’s amazing longevity and slick feel. You will need soap and water to clean this ‘bad boy’ up. It is not recommended that this type of lube is used with silicone pleasure products or toys due to possible degrading over time.
hybrid lube is a mixture of the water-based lube and the silicone based lube. These tend to last longer and can be used with different pleasure products.
oil lubes like Coconut oil (which should be organic and top grade) are great because it’s moisturizing, lasts long as hell and has a delicious smell and taste to it however not all vaginas react well to it. Make sure you don’t have any allergies as well. It isn’t compatible with condoms or any latex.
On the market there’s a bunch of companies that make an array of different kinds so it’s important to pay attention to the ingredients in which they are made from, especially for penetration or the insertion of anything. Stay away from Parabens, Glycerin, anything numbing, and any ingredient you are allergic to. Not all lubes are created equally, so a bad lube experience can lead to infections, discomfort, or irritation; which is not what we want!
Now companies are making THC and CBD infused lubes! I am so happy about this. They can help with relaxing muscles and painful sex. Foria is a great company for these products!
One of my personal favorite lubes is the new Wicked Sensual Care Simply line. I am never without my simply AQUA or simply AQUA JELLE! This line has clean and simple ingredients and contains Olive leaf extract that has moisturizing and biostatic properties. Check out my shop if interested.
Another fav is Uberlube which is a great silicone based lube that creates a super slick long lasting slippery experience. Uberlube can be used in a number of ways including for sex, chaffing, frizzy hair, a squeaky door (LOL), and even removing makeup. This is definitely included in my zombie survival kit.
